Comparison of Cesar Chavez and Thurgood Marshall

I think Cesar Chavez and Thurgood Marshall are very similar even though they did completely different things. They both had one thing in mind, get people the rights they deserve. Cesar Chavez helped farmers get better pay and benefits and Thurgood Marshall helped people in the court of law get justice. One example of an event that took place where Chavez and Marshall did similar things was the Delano Grape Strike where Chavez marched to get the farm workers rights and the Brown vs. Board of Education where Marshall abolished segregation. Even though they did different things they still helped people and make life better for people.

  1. Do you think they could have been more powerful if they had worked together?

    1. Yes because he needed the law on his side for the protesting.

  2. I don't know. Their jobs were so different that maybe they could or maybe they couldn't. Cesar was a farmer and Thurgood was a judge.
